Dr Karen Proudman, MBBS, FRACP, is a consultant neurodevelopmental paediatrician with over 20 years of experience in private practice.

She has interest and expertise in the assessment and ongoing management of children and adolescents who have been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders, developmental, cognitive, social and emotional delays and behaviours that challenge. Karen has been trained to administer standardised assessments such as the ADI-R, ADOS-2 and the Griffiths III.

Karen offers a team-based approach for all her Total Health Care patients including neurodiverse students by communicating and collaborating with teachers and allied health professionals. She is passionate about advocating, nurturing and protecting neurodiverse children, adolescents and their families and encourages students to embrace their authentic selves to support development of good self-esteem and mental health.
